Doris Miller, affectionately known as “Dorie,” embodied courage, humility, and unwavering service in the face of adversity during the Attack on Pearl Harbor. His heroic actions not only earned him the Navy Cross, but also cemented his place in history as a symbol of bravery and perseverance.

Today, the American Legion Dorie Miller Memorial Post #331, Inc. carries that legacy forward with purpose and pride. We are more than an organization—we are a living tribute to sacrifice, resilience, and community. Through dedicated service, advocacy, and outreach, we honor those who have served while uplifting the next generation to lead with integrity and strength.

Rooted in unity and respect, our post serves as a beacon for veterans, families, and supporters alike—creating a space where history is remembered, contributions are valued, and the spirit of service continues to thrive.
